The SYCBA will hold a Chicken BBQ on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Freedom Community Center, 150 North Main Street.  Tickets are $7.50.  All proceeds benefit H.O.P.E. (Help for Oncology Problems and Emotional Support)  H.O.P.E. is an all-volunteer organization that provides free support services to cancer patients and their families.

 

You can eat in or carry out!  Beverages will be available at an additional cost.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, a Bounce House, UTA Karate demonstrations and face painting.  Order tickets today and be entered into a raffle to win a Panasonic Digital Camera!  Email info@sycba.com or call Michelle VanPelt at Edward Jones Investments at 717-235-9911 to purchase your tickets. 

Summer is right around the corner.  It will be here before you know it!  We are trying something new for our Summer Social.  The social event will be held at the York Revolution Baseball stadium on Tuesday, June 10th, to see the York Revs play baseball against the Somerset Patriots.  The ticket price is $25.00 and it includes the ticket for the game and an all-you-can-eat buffet from 6 to 8 p.m.  The game starts at 7:07 p.m.  This event will be open to members, their families and guests.  The above ticket price is based on a minimum of 25 people attending, so please RSVP to Demi Fair at dfair@yorklibraries.org.  Payment must be received at or before our May 13th meeting.  Go Revolution!
